You may have an image already in mind, or you may want to dive deeper into your heart’s desires to find clues to what you might look like on a soul level. Magical realism is an artform that paints a realistic view of the world, while also adding magical elements. Your Soul Portrait falls into that category as it combines elements from your inner and outer world. I’ve created a questionnaire that will help us imagine, together, a vision of your truest self. Imagine yourself surrounded by your animal companions, flora and fauna, in a setting that transcends the here and now. The only thing required is imagination, (and some grood reference photos)!
The process is fun and easy! We can start with a 15 minute consultation, or, if you want to dive deeper into what your 'soul' might look like, you can download the Your Soul Portrait Questionnaire. Fill out the form as much, or as little, as you like. Once we have enough information, I will compose the painting digitally (on my ipad) before going to canvas with paint. You will have several opportunities to preview the design at this point. It will be a truly creative collaboration. Introductory offer is $700.00 for 20"x24" canvas. Contact me to discuss! My name is Dianne McAlexander Hall. I'm a classically trained painter and graphic designer. I live in Woodstock, Georgia with my husband, David Hall, and our two Labrador Retrievers, Sasha and Maizy, and Budder, our yellow tabby. I have 3 grown children, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. I have been painting live at weddings for the past few years, and most excited about offering Yourr Soul Portrait, which combines my love of figure painting, dream work, psychology and magical realism in art.
